Congressional Energy Engagement had the distinct honor of co-hosting along with Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, Chairman of the House Energy and Water Subcommittee on Appropriations, the New Member of Congress Nuclear Welcome Reception—a remarkable event that brought together an unprecedented 27 bipartisan members of Congress, both new and returning, alongside an impressive gathering of nuclear industry leaders, organizations, and key representatives from the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy.

As a proud member of the Tennessee Nuclear Energy Advisory Council, I was honored to contribute to Tennessee’s strategic vision for nuclear energy. Our council’s final report to Governor Bill Lee highlights key recommendations to strengthen the state’s role in clean and sustainable energy solutions. I am also grateful to have received this special certificate from the governor in recognition of our council’s impactful work and dedication.
